HOBBII MAL: PART 1

PART 1

CORNER BLOCK

WELCOME TO PART 1!

Say a big hello to our first instalment, the Corner Block square!

Kicking off the Make-A-Long in bright bold graphic glory with this block!

If you have signed up to the MAL you should have received an email containing the pattern- but have no fear you can also access them on Hobbii’s site if you are late to the party!

(Note: After the MAL’s completetion from May 1st 2023 the pattern is now a paid for pattern and can be found through the link for the entire 6 parts)

For this first part you will be making a total of 24 squares, 4 in each colourway.

And for those of you that are using your own stash or substituting, now the first patterns out, you can find all the yarn info in that to work out your colours and quantities!

As this is our first week, it is also the trial and error of getting that tension right- remember to check this after making one, to check you are working to the right size. My Top Tip is that it is normally easier to change your tools rather than change yourself. So if the block is too big, try a hook or needle size down, and if it's too small try using a hook or needle size bigger.
