The Pop Patch collar has gone down so well that I thought if you’re still after a collar fix I would remind you all of the project I did with the V&A a couple of years back. The Collar craze is in full swing and somehow I just realised I never gave this project a space here on the blog!

So if it passed you by on insta a couple of years back, let me introduce the Flower Folk Collar! I was lucky enough to have my work feature in the V&A Fashioned From Nature Exhibition back in 2019. This sparked this collaborative project where they asked me to get inspired by the archive and produce a How-To.

What jumped out to me in the archive was the vintage crochet decorative collars- they were beyond BEAUTIFUL! I wanted to be inspired by these and mix in my love for the granny square, and this is how this project was born! You can hear more about my process and my practice in the interview video below.
